Dr. John A. Johnson, MD has had an impressive 35-year career spanning healthcare and business and has leveraged both his clinical expertise and business acumen to develop innovative solutions for providing our community’s most vulnerable populations with access to high quality mental healthcare and community-based support services. As a board-certified psychiatrist, early on in his medical career he specialized in treating the severely mentally ill and addicted. Since then, he has expanded his impact to general healthcare through revitalization of community hospitals in low-socioeconomic areas. His passion has always been to help the most marginalized members of society including the poor and underserved but doing so wearing a business and operations hat so that sustainability and longevity can be achieved.
